In addition to the mountains, ocean, and warm weather, Vancouver is a uniquely awesome place to be a C. elegans researcher. There are eleven C. elegans labs in Vancouver across four campuses and we meet monthly at VanWoRM (The Vancouver-area Worm Research Meeting) to share our research, and more importantly to eat free pizza. This type of meeting is unique and allows us to gain different perspectives and to form collaborations to facilitate our research. Learn more Here
